Marty Martinez
President
A background in construction management and business at Arizona State University allows Marty to brings a wide variety of experience to Botanist Of The Valley. Performing as a general contractor on large scale residential and commercial projects for the state of Arizona and ADOT makes no job too large or too small. His experience in the construction and business administration industry allows him to a be a facilitator on all levels. Marty formally was a project manager for a home developer here in Arizona, giving him an eye for design. The goals he has set for himself and for the company are to work smarter, creatively, and productively. Marty’s communication skills allow him to create a warm, positive, and poised environment.
Crystal Peralta
Landscape Architect
Crystal Peralta is a Landscape Designer with experience in residential, commercial, and multi-family landscape design. As an Arizona native, she is fond and knowledgeable of the Desert plant species and the beauty that it holds. With an eye for detail, her designs can mimic the illusive nature that the desert creates in its natural form or create a haven of formality for a contemporary design. As a recent graduate from Arizona State, she is on her way to becoming a licensed Landscape Architect while serving as a liaison to the American Society of Landscape Architects.
Arturo Carranza
Designer / Project Manager
Arturo Carranza graduated from Arizona State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management and Technology. Construction management is a professional service that uses specialized, project management techniques to oversee the planning, design, and construction of a project, from its beginning to its end. Arturo provides knowledge of innovative technologies, construction principles and business management to lead a wide variety of construction projects from residential and commercial buildings to infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges and large facilities.
Arturo also received his ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – GRADE I certification from the American Concrete Institute. As a certified individual Arturo has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform and record the results of seven basic field tests on freshly mixed concrete. Arturo has worked for a major ready mix supplier and can provide knowledge in most cementitious products.
Throughout his academic career Arturo studied several design courses to strengthen his design practice. From design awareness which surveys cultural, global, and historical context for the design professions. To courses in industrial design which, emphasizes developing ideas into a complete functional product, including survey and application of aesthetics, human factors, materials, and manufacturing.
Priscilla Peralta

Priscilla Peralta
Born in Los Angeles, California,Priscilla is currently attending school for her bachelors degree in accounting, while also being a full time mom to her one month old son, Mael. Priscilla is a team player, with a commitment to customer service, who possesses a long track record of administrative roles, coupled with good PC skills and the ability to communicate confidently at all levels. Priscilla has a highly organized approach and a genuine desire to contribute to the ongoing success of botanist of the valley.
