So happy to have stumbled upon this landscaping company after a horrible experience with a previous landscaper. It was very difficult to find a company willing to cater to our custom requests, but they gladly took on our project and brought our creative vision to life. We first reached out to Botanist of the Valley with a half done yard, wondering if it can be salvaged. Thankfully, they were able to correct the mistakes of the previous landscaper and go above and beyond our expectations. They worked with us throughout the whole process and made sure to plan out and confirm the design before execution. We were so particular about every little thing, from rock, light, and cactus placement, and they always made sure we were happy with the end results. They also completed our landscaping fairly quickly, which was a huge plus for us. Even during the whole COVID-19 shut down, there were minimal delays. I highly recommend going with BOTV for all of your landscaping needs. They are extremely professional with great customer service. They also provide consultations and quotes so there aren't any surprises at the end.

Botanist of the Valley did a project for us early in 2020. Part of the project was to improve the appearance and seal our existing pavers. Somewhere over the summer, the finish became cloudy. I asked them to return and make the situation right. After an evaluation, they returned, pressure washed the pavers, added new sand and resealed them. Afterwards they guided me to a source and I was able to apply another coating of the same product they used to add to the good work they had done.

We are glad I found BOV through my internet research to provide the landscaping on all four sides of our house. After Marty and Luis inspected the yard at our newly constructed house, Luis invited us to a couple of Zoom conferences in which we could work with him on his 3D drawing. This way, any requested changes or concerns could be addressed immediately. We wanted a simple, clean design. Luis listened well, as that is precisely what he provided at a very reasonable cost. Andy's crew led the actual implementation. Like Luis, Andy listened well and was very responsive to various changes that we requested while the project was in progress. Andy and his crew were very patient as we changed our mind on a few things more than once. In addition, Andy, assisted with a correction to our pool equipment free of charge! Luis, Andy and the crew clearly take pride in their work, and it shows. Some neighbors have expressed compliments about how the finished product looks. We are still considering a built-in BBQ grill station, and BOV would be the first contractor I would consider for that job.

My one word sum up: Exceptional. We just moved into a home with a blank canvas as a backyard, so were looking for someone who could help us design something for the family to enjoy for years to come. We solicited several quotes and got back some good designs and ideas. BOTV set themselves apart by the knowledge of everything that would go into the yard. Marty took the time to come out and see our yard. He asked us questions on what we wanted. Listened and gave us a design that was gorgeous. Of course, we went through several changes until it was perfect. We even had the crew change things on the fly as they were laying the travertine, building the kitchen area, and laying the plants. Luis took over as project manager and the level of attentiveness got even better. He was always responsive even to my texts late in the evening with a crazy idea or question. The level of professionalism and craftmanship extended to each of the crews. Nado, Heriberto, Luis, Angel, Mario, Jesus, Emo, Brian and Shawn all were top shelf. They were respectful of the home, extremely attentive to detail, and were able to make small changes on the fly when the wife and I asked. I would highly recommend Botanist of the Valley for any needs from turf, travertine, pool coping, pavers, outdoor kitchens, and pergolas. Simply the best.

At the beginning of quarantine my daughter was just turning one and starting to walk. After a few weeks of working from home we realized we desperately needed more time outside, and decided to put money into the yard. I put together some ideas and reached out to a few companies - Botanist of the Valley earned our business from the first conversation! Christian, the designer, came out and really helped us reimagine what we could do with the space. He didn't just take measurements and send a quote - he talked through our needs, talked us through the possibilities, and took the time to understand our budget so we could get the most bang for our buck. The design he put together went through a few changes but after a week or so we were ready to go! From there Luis took over and talked us through every step. He communicated with us every step of the way - we always knew who would be here doing what. We had different crews working on different parts of this, and everyone was great: Luis, Miguel, Brian, Angel, Emo and Sergio (who hauled everything away by himself and cleaned up the aftermath)! They were respectful of my work from home, my kid and my dog and made sure that everyone was safe and masked up when needed. The before and after photos speak for themselves! Not only did they do an amazing job, but they came back and fixed every little nitpicky change I wanted to make sure I was 100% satisfied. My neighbors keep giving us compliments, and my toddler has her own space to run around and play!

I could not speak more highly of this amazing company! We had several quotes for our yard project. Not only did BOTV give us the best quote, we still would've gone with them if they hadn’t. They were attentive and engaged from the very first email. Christian did our initial visit and quote. He was friendly, knowledgeable and also sensitive to our comfort level having someone over to the house as this was right after the quarantine started. We had SOOO many questions for Christian after he left! He was always quick to respond and get us answers. Luis took over from there and he was outstanding! He oversaw every step of the project, coming multiple times a day, always reachable by call or text. He had great ideas and suggestions as we definitely are not landscapers! 🙂 The team, Bryan, Americo, Luis and Gaston, were fast, efficient, hard working and SO PATIENT!! I am very opinionated and picky in little decisions and plant placement, they frequently called me out to get my preferences and see how I felt about it all as the days went on. Anything I wanted moved or redone they happily did. We added on multiple things that we didn't originally plan and they adapted quickly and easily to new plans. They upgraded and added to our old watering system as well, giving us a super user friendly new set up for our old plants, combining everything. SO EASY! Then we wanted a hose spigot added in another part of the yard where we had no water access, no big thing for them! A few hours later, we had a new hose by the turf. I could go on and on, this team was amazing and we would use them over and over again!! We were hoping for a new fun yard for us to enjoy and our son to have a great play place and they gave us exactly that! The giant sandbox they put in has been used every single day! Thank you so much Luis, Christian and the rest of your quality team for giving us the yard we have been hoping for and so much more than we imagined!! We are truly so grateful.

We were so happy with the work they did on installing pavers on our patio. After initially contacting them, they came out very quickly to give us quote, they were priced lower than some other companies and we felt we could trust them right from the beginning. The other companies, who were higher priced did not give us a good feeling. They got the job done MUCH quicker than they had quoted us! Out patio turned out better than we had hoped. We would hands down, not hesitate to use them again or refer them!

If you are looking for a great company that is transparent in every way you, then you found them. Botanist of the valley put pavers in our backyard around the pool. We could not be happier; they exceeded our expectations. They have a 3 tier pay plan: 25% to set a date, 25% after they break ground and the remaining balance when completed. They made us feel secure because everyone has heard the shady contractor stories. They came Thursday morning and were done by Monday. The crew was nice and polite and at the end of each day they cleaned up the work site. Moving forward on future projects, we will only be using Botanist of The Valley.
